The sheet says they at at Minneapolis Auto Auction I would asume they are from a Minnsota dealer or dealers. 1 2006, 12 2007s, 86 2008s, who knows how many 2009s this will probly leave a mark!!!! read quick because the sale only last til Friday March 27th at 5:00 edt |

our list for california has 159 2008's and 5 2007's but no or 09's. also listed 29 Hyundia's about half 08 and half 09 and the discounts aren't as steep on the hyundias.
for example an 08 hyundia genesis with an invoice of $ 34023 is listed at $28920 save $5103. while an 08 300 with an invoice of $39467 lists at $27450, savings $12017. |

I've been away from my computer for most of the day so I haven't had the ability to checkout DealerConnect.
Concerning the 2009s, CF wouldn't have to worry about those since they can force the Factory to take them back. Essentially, the 2009s become a problem for the Business Centers, not CF. |

Considering transport cost, loss of allocation money, and over order money, we don't think they are discounted enough for a blind buy. I would assume IVC, and rebates still apply however.

Does anyone know if all these units from one dealer??
I think that 06 Magnum R/T AWD will have a hard time breaking $13,000 at the block they are asking $29,035 no rebate on 06. |

Based on what I've read the vehicles are sold as new and are still eligible for Retail Incentives and the Lifetime Powertrain Warranty. To the extent they're sold and processed with NVDRs, I'm assuming that they qualify for IVC payment as well.
That's a great point. To calculate the true "discount" you need to determine what the actual cost of the vehicle would have been after adjusting for holdback and the other incentives. |

It appears that every BC has a different list. The list for the West BC seems to include vehicles from multiple dealers.
The pricing of the vehicles does seem strange - some look like great values while others look like they'll never sell. In the West BC the Chrysler 300s and the Jeep Grand Cherokees have sold pretty fast. By contrast, I don't think they've sold their first Chrysler Sebring Sedan. |

I'd love to know the story behind the 2009 Hyundais.....
I'm thinking CF would have the ability to force Hyundai to take back the 2009s - just like they do with Chrysler. There has to be a reason why they're not taking this option. Do the vehicles have miles on them? Have they already been reported as sold by the dealer before the dealership closed? Is CF afraid that Hyundai will retain the vehicles and not issue a credit? Also, which Chrysler dealer in California failed recently that also had a Hyundai franchise? Last edited by XDCX; 03-24-2009 at 11:41 AM. Reason: Correct grammar mistake |

I once heard a story where a Dealer Principal at one of Chrysler's MI stores took 20+ Crossfires and tried to apply the $10K/unit incentive to the bottom line. That's one way to "prop-up" a weak month.
I don't think Chrysler's MI Staff at the BC signed off on that deal.... |
