Traffic is off the scale, I haven't worked a deal all day, and some dobbers are down, but not the owners.

Things have been very slow here. Thank god for used cars. That is how we are paying our bills right now.

Thurs & Fri traffic was pretty good, actually sold some,but today a little slow. The reason is more than likely the weather, cool and very windy.

Finishing up some Thursday and Friday business, but not much fresh traffice today. Mid 60s and beautiful here in KC. Very frustrating.

Traffic has been a little light...we have been getting a lot of calls saying they were glad to hear we are still in business, I told these people they should really support us and buy a vehicle, no takers yet....we did sell a used jeep first thing this morning, hope that is a good sign....

6 on the books as of now...2 new....slow the last few days as well.
Light traffic today but it's early yet..the 4pm rush should start soon... |

Good customers today… pulled 10 bureau’s… 7 had good scores… 4new/3used. Happy to see that balance of credit. (in todays terms)

Gotta say, for an OLDCO dealer, we had a great day! Sold 4 new, 4 used, had lots of old and customer traffic, this is far from over for this OLDCO gal...

First of all, I have to say that I am getting quite addicted to this forum. When I first started looking at this site I would look every few days. Now, I am at a point where I almost keep it up on my computer all day. This forum is great because it's comprised of people who are in this business and not just "expert" customers like other forums.
Anyway, our traffic has been off for quite a while. One thing I have noticed is that almost all of the people coming in are coming in to buy. The last three weekends we have had almost a 65% closing ratio selling anywhere from 20-25 in a weekend. This has been good for my salespeople because of instead of people coming in talking about what they saw on the news they think that they have a good shot at closing a deal. Don't get me wrong, we haven't had an over abundance of traffic but it is nice to have something. Seems some of the BS tire kickers that aren't buying anything or can't buy anything are staying home. I know that closing ratio seems high and the first thing most people say is: "your missing some customers" but we have a lot that is setup to see everyone. Anyway, that's my two cents worth...... |

Anyone else seeing more used traffic?
We aren't a big used car store, due to the size of our location and can store about 35 used max... we average about 15.. last month we did 20, and we're already at 18 this month... |
