Default Maine Ford Dealer battling with Ford Motor Credit

A Ford Dealer in Maine struggles to stay open despite receiving notice from the Bureau of Motor Vehicles that his dealers license has been suspended.

Ford Motor Credit alleges that the dealer has failed to meet his obligations as part of their wholesale financing agreement and they have started the process of repossessing the dealership's inventory of new and used vehicles.

A local bank is also foreclosing on the dealership.

A spokesman for Ford indicates there has been no decision made on whether another dealer will be awarded the franchise.
