Default GM / Kent Moore Special Tools

Anyone know of a good place that buys Kent Moore Special tools? Seen a few listed on ebay but probably not the best way to unload a lot of them

It's a great question, but given the number of dealers who are going to be selling off their tools my bet is any company offering to buy tools will probably have some real "low-ball" offers.

As you mentioned, Ebay is an option and you may want to try Craigslist. The only other thought I have would be to contact some of the local independent shops and see if they have any interest.

Try me, I buy K-M, OTC, Miller and most any other specialties (lot quantities only, dealer close-outs or consolidations preferred) in the general south-east US and may be interested beyond that.

I've had decent luck selling a few to local Corvette entheusiasts, and sold a few more on eBay.

If anyone has a particular tool they are looking for, shoot me and email and make an offer. I'd just as soon get rid of 95% of them.

We sold every last one of ours in a pile. Buyer loaded them himself. $7,000 cash.

Who'd you sell them to?

Some guy from Wisconsin. I put an ad on Craigslist and he responded within like ten minutes. I may still have his name and number if you are interested?

Yep, I'm interested. Listing them all on ebay, packing and shipping is getting to be a beyatch!

Thought I had a phone number but I don't. There were two guys, one of them was named Jim Waterman, and the other one just went by DJ. Like I said, they were from Wisconsin. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

Just did another deal with a gentleman retiring from the business, bought his entire tool inventory less the electronics, and still open to buying lot quantities of K-M tools. Keep my name and email, you will want it someday!

Just bought out an obsolete CHevy inventory in Wisconsin, still open to other Ford, MoPar or GM (even foreign) dealerships looking to unload old or unwanted tools.

I am looking for a Chrysler GR8 battery charger/tester. The tester piece of this unit unbolts from the charger and is necessary to connect with WiTech in order to warranty a battery. If any terminated dealer has one I would be interested in buying the tester piece only....you can keep the charger. I can hook the tester to our Chevrolet unit that is identical except having the ability to send the codes for warranty.
