Default water pump warranty?

one of the shops in town bought a water pump over a year ago, don't know the exact date yet but he is claiming it should be under warranty for 2 years or 24k instead of the 1 year 12k normally on over the counter parts because his shop is signed up for the ac delco assurance program? I assume if that is the case, he would have to purchase the part from us again if it is over the 12 month 12 k and then not charge his customer, and then he would have to get it warranted on his end through delco, correct?

if he didn't buy it from the ACD jobber, it wouldn't have that warranty, it's going to have GM parts warranty which is 12 months.

exactly what I tried to explain to him, that if it was with the 12 month time frame we would be able to warranty it, he couldn't get it through his head for some reason.

Think I'll take my broken TV over to Kmart and see if they'll cover the extended warranty I bought with the TV at Best Buy

Isn't that only if it was installed at the dealership?

Not sure, I've been away from GM for a while now

some of the warranties have changed over the past few years. I sometimes refer back to the policy and procedure manual pages 114-117.
