Default Fenkell Repair Facility - Repair Status Damage Report

Speaking of delays and I know I am not the only one still waiting for a WRANGLER RUBICON that has been paid for a long long time ago. They Promised me last Friday be here by Tuesday but they did not tell me which one. Now it reads Repair Status Damage Report Fenkell Repair facility. I have it sold to a dealer friend of mine that owns 2 Ford Stores. He is just laughing up a storm thank God he understands and yes I am making MONEY on him.

I'm not familiar with the Fenkell Repair Facility - are they fixing plant damage or transit damage?

Here's a thread from the Challengerforumz that discusses the "Fenkell Repair Status" notification - click here

The second post in the thread has a link to the Fenkell website and one of the services they offer is in-transit repair for the Detroit OEMS.

In the case of the thread on the Challengerforumz it appears a vehicle was damaged while it was being transported to an off-sight location to have a ground effects package installed. The damage was so extensive Chrysler refused to ship the car and built a new vehicle as a replacement.

In your situation it might be a good idea to contact Fenkell directly - someone there must know what's going on with your Rubicon.

No problem - hopefully the people at Fenkell will have some answers.

I think I'll create a new thread so Google can index this topic and hopefully any of our members who have had experience with the Fenkell Repair Facility can chime in with their experience.

Default Fenkell Repair Facility - Repair Status Damage Report

I wanted to create a new thread for the Fenkell Repair Facility that Chrysler uses to repair damaged vehicles.

Does anyone have any experience with vehicles that enter this process? Does the repair process take long and are you provided with an ETA for the repairs to be completed?

Heck, I have a Challenger that I paid for on 8-11-10 and it was just loaded on to the rail yesterday. Sold order of course. I've been bugging the DM about it to no avail of course.

I was wondering - did the people from the Fenkell Repair Facility ever respond to your e-mail?

No they did not and it is still sitting there. How long should it take to change a battery? That is what they say is wrong.

Wow, that's frustrating on both counts.

You wouldn't think it would be that hard to have someone at Fenkell respond to dealer e-mails and you'd think there'd be a more efficient process to swap a battery out of a vehicle while it's in-transit.

Maybe Chrysler can deploy some of their SGS inspectors to see if the vendors are meeting their standards.
