Miles GM & Chrysler stores to shut down in Woodburn
News reports indicate that Miles will be closing their GM and Chrysler dealerships in Woodburn, OR.
Here's a link to the news report - click here The article indicates that the closures are being driven by GMAC's demands that the dealer pay-off his mortgage to retain his floorplan loans. While I hate to hear about any dealership being forced to close, this announcement really surprised me. The Miles Chrysler store is located next door to one of the busiest Factory Outlet Malls in the state and had excellent frontage on I-5. I thought the store would be able to prosper based on its location alone. |
