National Dealer Council asks for new ads
A story just released by Bloomberg indicates that National Dealer Council reps have contacted Auburn Hills asking that the current ads be stopped and new ads be created to address falling sales.
Here's a link to the Bloomberg report - click here The story also addresses the reduced incentives by Chrysler and the elimination of local DAA spending authority. It's also the first report I've read that acknowledges that over half of Chrysler's November sales volume was fleet and their retail market share is probably under 6%. (I wonder if Bloomberg's been reading the forum. ) It's no secret that I've been super-critical of Chrysler's National Dealer Council and the fact it seems they're in complete agreement with Chrysler's decisions. I think it's fantastic to hear they've taken a stand in opposition to the current advertising. |

I don’t see Chrysler going back to the DAA’s… but, it sure would be nice to get our advertising back to F.A.B.!
