John A. Van Hoogstraat passes away
News reports indicate that John A. Van Hoogstraat, owner and president of Royal Gate Dodge, Chrysler, Jeep passed away last month.
A Blog Entry and a separate news report by an on-line newspaper suggested the death was a suicide. Sadly, this may be the second death by suicide this year for a Chrysler Dealer in Missouri.  Rufus Church, Dealer Principal for Ozark Dodge in Ozark, MO was found dead in his dealership in March and suicide was being investigated as the cause by the police department.
