Default Ordering pressure thread moved to AREA 51

The thread on "Ordering pressure" has been moved to AREA 51 where posts can only be viewed by approved members.

The reason the thread was moved was to provide members an opportunity to discuss topics that were discussed at recent "Go To Market" meetings without a concern their comments could be viewed in an open forum.

If you are a member of DealershipForum but do not have access to AREA 51 please see this thread for further details - click here

Default Point of clarification - "Pre-Approved" units ARE NOT Sales Bank units

In an effort to ensure the forum conveys accurate information, I've copied portions of three posts from the "Ordering pressure" thread to clearly establish that Chrysler's "Pre-Approved" units ARE NOT Sales Bank units.

Here are some excerpts from the "Ordering pressure" thread:

It’s a decent/fast way to adjust your inventory up OR down pending your sales and inventory needs. I grabbed a couple 25K T&C’s out of that system and they were diverted here within a couple weeks. Both were ordered by a CA dealer… they weren’t actual Bank units. Remember… you can put your own units out there for grabs if you start getting heavy in a certain line.

I didn't even know Chrysler was offering that feature - it seems like a great way for dealers to balance their inventory and it's a great use of technology.
