Microsoft set to launch Dealership Management System
With the battle between ADP and Reynolds and Reynolds heating up, Microsoft announced its plans to launch their own Dealership Management System later this year.
Microsoft announced that it is working with an unnamed OEM Manufacturer to develop a Dealership Management System for its dealers. Microsoft plans to release the name of the OEM sometime during the First Quarter of 2008. Although pricing was not released, Microsoft hinted that the pricing would be in the middle of the market - they won't be the cheapest, but they also won't be the most expensive. It will be interesting to see how Microsoft's entry into this market affects the current players? |

Hopefully it won't work like Windows. I'd like to see what Apple could do.
