New to this Forum

Hello to all!

My name is Marv Eleazer. I was informed of this Forum by a good friend and am excited to join you all! I started in the auto business in 1979 as a salesperson and began my career in Finance 10 years later. I've been at my current location in Valdosta at Langdale Ford since 1999 as Finance Director. I've been a member of another F&I forum sponsored by F&I Magazine since 9/05 and have been looking to broaden my scope a bit so I've landed here. I hope I can learn more about this exciting business as well as lend some expertise along the way.

I've attended the F&I conference for the last six straight years and highly recommend attendance since it's a great place to network and discover the latest happenings in the industry. I've had articles published by that magazine as well as an article published this month in Ward's Dealer Business mag.

I look forward to your comraderie.

Welcome Marv. I'm sure you'll find a home here quickly. It's also nice to get some Ford blood in the mix too.

Welcome aboard Marv....This site is quite enlightening and as you will find. As possum said, a life saver for lots of folks this past year but very informative and timely in more issues than you can believe.

I've invited a slew of my buds from the other forum so hopefully they will join and the party will get lively. I got a couple of emails this evening that a few were coming so we will see. Thanks for having me aboard. Jules4jeeps is a dear friend and I am her uncontested #1 fan.

Marv, welcome aboard. It's great to have some new blood here at the forum.

Concerning Jules, we like her too. In fact, we like Zophy and we miss Miles and JimD from the other forum.

I haven't done much to promote the forum to Ford dealers so the section may be a little quiet. That said, one of our founding members and top posters, dafuzz1956, has been looking for someone to converse with since Chrysler stole his franchise back in June. (His store used to be a single point Chrysler/Lincoln store, now he's Lincoln only.)

Thanks for joining the forum and I look forward to reading your posts.
