Thanks for the update. It's good to hear that the "vulture" customers have tapered off.

Concerning Darner, it's been a few years since I've been there but I can still remember the showroom - it was like a flashback to the 70s. The only thing missing was a Cordoba. Hopefully they'll be able to transition to a used car dealership and survive.

CarguyCo, while my numbers aren't as good, I'm sitting on a total of 53 new rides on the ground and these seem to be the leftovers and aren't drawing any attention....don't wish ill will of OLDCO dealers, but sure would love some of that excess inventory to get through til production resumes.

Smile Thread bump for a mid-month Traffic Report

I thought I would bump this thread for a mid-month Traffic Report.

How's July shaping up so far for showroom traffic and sales?

Congratulations - those are some impressive numbers. :thumbsup_old:

Can I ask how large your used car inventory is? Are your results based on large inventory of vehicles or a fast turn?

I see light at the end of the tunnel. We had 4 fresh deliveries before 2 today. Natural traffic is almost nonexistent. The number of internet leads is down but still paying off w/ good closing ratios. But currently our best source of sales is previous customers & referrals. Keep salespeople smiling & dialing it works. Just mailed to all my VINs within 50 miles (not seen in svc for 6-18 mos.) an offer for a free oil change for taking a test drive. If the new car smell doesn’t get them svc better win them back.
They’re calling for 38 & a light drizzle in the morning it should be a fun 7:30 tee time. High of 48 today & it’s usually 60+ at this time must be that global warming Gore invented. How long is it till spring?

Been very busy with USED Vehicles. Only sold 1 New Chrysler Product this month. No much traffic for a Saturday very very unfall like in SE Ohio today. Hopefully next week their will be some sun and customers come out so to be 60. That is better then 30 in October.

Smile Great to hear some Good News

Thanks for the updates - it's great to finally hear some good news.

After the CARS lull, I guess we shouldn't care if it's new cars or used, as long as there are some customers who want to buy something.

Last year the day after Christmas was a bomb. So far today traffic is great & they’re buying.
