C4C data indicates Chrysler w/ a 7% share of C4C
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Cash-f...html?x=0&.v=21
“The biggest industry beneficiaries were Japanese automakers Toyota, Honda and Nissan, which accounted for 41 percent of the new vehicle sales. That outpaced Detroit automakers General Motors, Ford and Chrysler, which had a share of nearly 39 percent. Toyota Motor Corp. led the industry with 19.4 percent of new sales, followed by General Motors Co. with 17.6 percent and Ford Motor Co. with 14.4 percent.” Big 3’s 39% share (-) GM’s 17.6% & Ford’s 14.4% share leaves Chrysler w/ a 7% share of C4C. |

I read in another article that Hyundai did more CARS deals than Chrysler did.
I guess it shouldn't be a huge surprise given that dealer inventories were light and the Chrysler vehicles that qualified for CARS are some of the weakest offerings Chrysler has. (Compass, Avenger, Sebring, Caliber, etc.) |

I just drove by my local Subaru store and they must have had 80 clunkers in their back lot. That's really impressive since it's one of the smaller Subaru stores in the Seattle area.
I hate to say it, but I wouldn't be surprised if Subaru did more CARS deals than Chrysler in this market. |
