What Procedures do you have for running the office side of the business?
I just started at a trailer and used car dealership and was hired to setup a new system for the office. How do you run your office? What procedures do you have in place? Any kind of insight would be very helpful! thank you

sg0126 - First post - Welcome to DealershipForum.
Concerning your question, I think we need to know about how large the used car/trailer dealership is (inventory and sales), how long they've been in business and what type of budget you have to work with. For very small dealerships I know that some dealers have successfully used QuickBooks to handle most of their needs. For dealers that are slightly larger, investing into a DMS (Dealership Management System) can be an excellent solution since the same software that's used to manage inventory and sell vehicles can be used to run the office as well. |
