Two dealerships sold in Tracy Auto Mall

We are pleased to announce that Performance Brokerage Services has just facilitated the sale of two new car dealerships in Tracy, California.

The dealerships changed hands from Mr. Tom Nokes to the Premier Auto Group.

The two dealerships, Hyundai and CDJR, failed during the 2008 economic meltdown and Mr. Tom Nokes, a long time multi-dealer in northern California purchased those and turned them into high volume successful operations.

Last week the dealerships changed ownership again. The new owner is the Premier Auto Group headed by Mr. Troy Duhon. The premier Auto Group is based in New Orleans.

A few years ago, we assisted the group with their first dealership acquisition in California, Poway Toyota. And now, with their latest acquisitions, Premier Auto Group and Troy Duhon have increased their portfolio to 12 dealerships of which 5 are in Louisiana and 7 are in California.

The operating partner in Tracy’s stores will be Tony Pappas who relocated from Florida after 22 years of managing one of the top Hyundai dealerships in the nation.

We wish Troy Duhon and Tony Pappas the best of luck and are confident that they will turn the acquisitions into a huge success.

Thanks for the update and congratulations on another successful transaction for Performance Brokerage Services.

It's interesting to learn that Mr. Nokes was able to resurrect two failed dealerships from 2008 and bring them to a level where he decided to sell them off in 2012.

I wish much success for the new owner, Mr. Troy Duhon, and it's interesting to see that his auto group is increasing their presence in California.
