Welcome to the forum.

While we don't have too many dealers with Mazda franchises we have some great members who have GM dealerships and a lot of members who have Chrysler dealerships. (Both OLDCO and NEWCO.)

Good luck with your arbitration case.

Welcome to the Forum.

Feel free to tell us the differences between the OEM's and how they treat their dealers.

Welcome, there is more info on this Forum than you can get anywhere else!

As far as Newco, be careful what you wish for.

I have been told that I have the Chrysler shakes. I am always suspicious and looking for the hidden meaning behind everything I am being told.
Mazda is very supportive as is GM. The parts and service reps contact us to make an appointment for a visit and I actually see them on a regular basis.

Mazda is nowhere near a replacement for a Jeep/Chrysler franchise but in time and reworking our own legacy processes, employees etc. I believe we can be successful. Mazda has a very different customer base. Social networking is becoming popular here (not that it wasn't before)

GM, I think, will be a work in progress internally. While they reject/accept dealer agreements, shed lines, and rework brands. It will be some time before we as dealer know what is going.

all my two cents

"CHRYSLER SHAKES" I love it! I've had them for years but did not know what they were. You would think that after termination they would go away.......NOPE!

"Chrysler Shakes" won't go away because Chrysler will never officially leave us alone! We still get something from them, or CFC, fairly often. We ignore it, and will continue to, but its still a nuisance.

Fatal Attraction is the key with Chrysler.

The "Chrysler Shakes" - that's a great expression - one that many members on the forum can relate to.

As 79LilRedExpress commented, I hope you'll become an active member and share your experiences with GM and Mazda. I'd also love to have more threads that discuss Fixed Operations issues.

If it wasn't for an episode of M.A.S.H. I watched when I was a kid I wouldn't have known what you were talking about. Your sense of humor is still as sharp as ever.

On a different note, maybe we should add the definition of "Chrysler Shakes" to the Urban Dictionary....
