I like it - it looks just like the drawings that have been on the Internet for months, but it's good to see a real photo.

Default Caspar Milquetoast

When I read the autoblog report I noticed they used the word "milquetoast" - my father has used that expression for years but I've never seen the word in print.

As before, I like the new Durango/Magnum and think the styling is fine. I also like the trend where Dodge/Ram is making the cross-hair grill less prominent.

I just wished it had true 3 row seating. We just lost yet another customer because we didn't have anything with 3 row seating + some room for luggage. Used to sell quite a few Durangos and Suburbans, but have nothing compatible to offer now.

It’s my understanding the new Durango is based on the Merc. GL platform which is 2” longer than our current Aspen/Durango (119.2” vs 121.1”). Not sure of your definition of “true 3 row seating”… but if the old Aspen/Durango met this 3-Row definition… the new Durango/Magnum should as well.

I was thinking the same thing but you beat me to it. I know the Durango/Magnum is longer and I'm assuming that's to accomodate a third row of seating.

We have a member, MisterM, who studies Chrysler's future product very carefully. Hopefully he'll see this thread and provide more details.

Default Automotive News confirms seven passenger seating for Durango/Magnum

I just read a report from Brad Wernle on the Automotive News website that confirms the Durango/Magnum will have seven passenger seating.

In case you didn’t know… the code guides for the new Durango are in Dealer Connect. Under standard equipment (pg 13) it indicates ALL models will have 3rd row seating.
