U.S. Production
The weekend announcement to shift truck production from Mexico to U.S. is interesting. 2,000 jobs here seems to be the beginning of a trend. Ford is on board also.

It seems the US OEMS are concerned about tax changes that Trump might enact which would make Mexican production less attractive. It was interesting to read in the attached article that GM's Mary Barra is on an advisory committee that reports to Trump. There's definitely reason to be hopeful if our government starts looking for ways to work with business as opposed to trying to force more rules and regulations. |
