That's great.

As a quick FYI, the forum has been getting attacked with fake accounts for the past few weeks so I've placed all new members in a "moderation" que where I screen their IP Addresses before they're allowed to post. This has eliminated the SPAM but it means a real account won't be able to post until I get a chance to approve the account.

Concerning the other forum, no problem. I know there are a lot of people who are members of multiple forums - I think that's great. I'm not sure if the other forum offers Private Messages or a hidden section, so you may want to familiarize yourself with those features. (AREA 51 is a hidden section that con only be viewed by members.)

I totally understand, it seems like everyone's a little slow right now.

If you get bored, you may want to check out your Buy Here/Pay Here thread - I asked a question you'll probably be able to provide some insight on.

I laughed when I read this....

Maybe we should promote the forum with a new slogan -

"DealershipForum, bringing the dealership community closer together one member at a time...."

Welcome Marv, X-MAN is partially right we also have Mercury. This is a great place and you will find alot of info and make some new friends here. Lately I have been hanging out in the weeds (or snow) just reading whats going on.

So welcome, enjoy, learn and teach. And if you do, drink lots of beer (lol)

Opps, sorry about that.

I should have remembered when you suggested I trade in my gas-guzzling Wrangler for a Hybrid Mercury Mariner back on June 11th.

On a different note, it would be great to get more Ford people in the house - it seems like they're doing a lot of things right lately.

Default MARV - Nice looking picture....

MARV, you get props for being the only member I can think of who has posted their picture as part of their profile. :thumbsup_old: You look quite dapper in a suit and tie.

On a different note, can you provide any links to the articles that you've had published, or are they limited to people who have subscribed to the F&I Magazine?

Why wouldn't everyone publish their pix? We all do it on FaceBook.

A lot of our members are Dealer Principals, GMs, GSMs, etc. who have made critical comments about their OEM. It's not to their benefit to have too many people know who they are on an open forum. In fact, that's why we created AREA 51 for sensitive topics.

That said, the forum's not "anti-factory" and it would be great for more of our members to get a chance to know one another on a more personal level.

D-Fuzz & I have a wager on the Pack./Steelers game this weekend... does that count??? If I lose... I'll take personally if that helps.
