Transmitter batteries
Any one charging a for transmitter battery replacement?

Most of the time, it does no good to replace the battery, the battery clip is broken off the PC board. If by some miracle it isn't, we charge only the cost of the battery, but we do explain that the remote still might be faulty, and we don't guarantee that battery replacement will fix it.

We do not charge to replace the battery. If the clip is broken, our electrical guy will solder it back on at no charge... unless the customer is a ..... then we charge them .3

I stopped soldering them. The feed-through on the board for one side is very close to the clip and the heat made it open up. Even using a small piece of wire to carry the solder through won't hold up very long.
