Thumbs up BMW Adds 4-Cylinder Turbo to X3

It looks like BMW will be getting a good amount of use out of its 2.0 turbo 4-cylinder. Now the X3 is getting this engine to replace the 3.0-liter six-cylinder in the X3 xDrive28i.

I would normally be against putting 4-cylinders in premium brands, but from what I've read, this 2.0 turbo engine is supposed to be very impressive. In the new 328i sedan, the 4-cylinder turbo gets an EPA rating of 36mpg highway and a 0-60 in under 6.0 secs - besting the 6-cylinder it is replacing. This engine should improve the X3 on those fronts as well.

BMW just keeps getting better.
