Sadly, that's true.
In only a couple of months it will have been three full years since the 789 were terminated by Chrysler and I'd venture to guess that less than 50% of the dealers who decided to continue their dealership as a used car operation are still in business. It's hard to carry the overhead of a new car facility and compete with other used car dealers who have a significantly lower overhead. Like the story in Steve's link - many of the 789 have fought hard but eventually got worn out by the never ending battle. |
