Default 2015 Jeep Renegade

The first Jeep built outside of the US for US sales. Will Jeep owners revolt? My guess id flocks of new owners will come to Jeep. Current Jeep owners may snub the new Jeep.

Looks like someone took a belt sander to a Nissan Cube. Not my thing.

Wishing the Jeep dealers the best of luck with this.

Autonews reported this will be on a 500 chassis. I hope this is wrong.

Kia Soul with a Jeep façade...probably be a good seller to 18-30 bracket, but will turn off traditional Jeep buyers. Could hurt the overall Jeep image, but probably not, and will pick up some additional niche buyers. As Jayhawk said, pricing and margins are critical to it's success.

It will be a tough market for East of the Mississippi and for non off road customers as Honda, Hyundai/Kia, and Ford own this market. West of the Mississippi and off roaders everywhere will trip over each other for it if priced correctly as Jayhawk mentions above.

I hope it will be a home run!

We all know you are correct, I think we just hate the thought of an American Icon being built in any other country than ours. I do hope this brings new customers. My concern about the underpinnings is, will they hold up like a Jeep should off road?

True purists began giving up when the Compass and Patriot came out. The market has changed.....as much as we hate that fact!

Your thoughts on this......If Harley-Davidson built a bike in Italy by Ducati do you think it would be accepted? I know a whole different market, but what do you think?

I'm encouraged. Looks like a re-skinned Panda.
We need to be in this market and I don't think the other Brands could attract enough attention. Remember how much we thought people wouldn't like or accept the 1st gen Liberty?? I also hope that the price point is on target

All around, this is one I'm excited for! Gets us into a new market with a new type of customer. Definitely provides for some conquest opportunities with brands we don't normally compete with.

Ha Jayhawk, Do you really think Chrysler/Fiat will do something good for the dealers and price a car right with a margin...I. E. Dart, Cherokee, Grand Cherokee is not a very good track record....:= )
