Based on my understanding, it appears Brady had two separate issues with GM and the local Dealer Advertising Association.
Concerning the DAA, Brady was upset that the DAA continued to use his likeness in advertising after his contract with the DAA expired. Concerning GM, Brady was upset that it was taking GM too long to provide him his free vehicle for being the Super Bowl MVP. Hard for me to tell who's right and who's wrong but it seems strange that issues as simple as these would reach a point where a lawsuit was filed. On the plus side, Brady donated the Cadillac to a High School that raffled it off and made $365K. |
