Missouri Dodge Dealer found dead at Dealership

In a sad story that's still developing the Dealer Principal for Ozark Dodge in Ozark, MO was found dead in his dealership. Police are reporting that the Dealer died of a gunshot wound.

The news report indicates the case is being investigated as a homicide.

To the extent that one of the initial news reports indicated the dealership was in the process of closing down, my first suspicion was the death was the result of a suicide attempt.

The latest news report, however, reaffirms that the case is being investigated as a homicide and that the dealer was found in the garage area of the Service Department with a gunshot wound to the chest. The body was discovered at 6:30 a.m.

The death continues to be investigated as a homicide and there were comments about finding "broken glass" at the dealership when the police were making their requests for search warrants.

I watched the video - it appears that the Dealer Principal was very involved in his community and well respected.

Police will not reveal how many times the victim was shot or where the body was found.
