Dealer reaction of GM's Employee Pricing Event
I'd be curious to hear what most GM dealers think about GM's current Employee Pricing Event.
Given GM's August sales reports it's clear that the program isn't as successful as it was when it was first introduced, but in fairness, the market's a lot tougher right now. Do customers come to your showroom asking about the program? Do your customers still want to negotiate beyond the "Employee Price?" |

Extra money off several models. |

If I recall correctly, I think they offered up an extra $1,000 for the employees of the companies that were on the Supplier/Fleet lists. At this point, if it helps sell some extra vehicles it's a good incentive. |
