Default Will Chrysler reach 60 Months of Year over Year Sales Gains?

Any bets on whether Auburn Hills will reach a full five years of sales growth when they release their sales results on Wednesday?

In some ways it seems like a bit of an uphill battle given that last year March had five weekends and this year there's only four.

That said, I'm sure Auburn Hills will be pushing hard for a strong sales close. Time will tell....

Default What's up with the "One month exception" for the Renegade?

I just read the report in Automotive News that covered Chrysler's quest for 60 months of Year over Year sales gains. The article mentioned that Auburn Hills is making a "one month exception" for the Jeep Renegade where CJDR dealers will be able to NVDR a Renegade even if financing has not been arranged/funded.

Am I missing something or is the article missing something?

Pretty much all of the dealers I've worked with will always NVDR a vehicle as long as they're convinced they can get the deal bought. In the rare instances where they're wrong and they couldn't get the customer bought, they'll unwind the deal and take the vehicle back in inventory.

Is Chrysler allowing dealers to NVDR Renegades that are still in-transit - if that was the case then it would be a newsworthy change.

Thumbs up Chrysler records 60 straight months of sales improvements

According to a report in USA Today, Auburn Hills has managed to pull off something that I would have thought impossible - they've had 60 straight months of sales increases.

Here's a link to the USA Today report - click here
