Default Found body damage on car bought at auction that wasn't there when sold.

Bought this Volvo a month ago and just got the title so I go to pick it up. Find this damage so have security file an incident report and leave the car there until Monday. Anybody know what happens next? They fix it? Cut me a check? Deny liability? What really pisses me off is that in the last year or so, you not allowed to drive to, and park it in, the sold lot yourself. If I could have done that, this would probably have been avoided.
