Great example. In my experience dealer trades are one of the main reasons I didn't want to accessorize in-stock new vehicles.

Another "real world" example.

I think the situation you described happens a lot. The Used Car Sales Manager just assumed a bed liner from his Parts Department is going to be more expensive so he didn't even check. The end result is the store loses money and time by purchasing from an outside vendor.
