Default Stuck in the snow.....

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/34620195...ce-innovation/

If they had a Ford they probably would not have needed a tow.

Reminds me once when I was on Amelia Island FL in an Expedition with my wife about to head onto the beach. The beach attendant advised us not to proceed unless we had 4 wheel drive because the beach was unusually soft that day. Mine was a 4x2. As I was backing out an F250 appeared from behind a dune at the beach entrance towing a Nissan Pathfinder 4x4 and tethered to the Nissan was a Toyota 4runner 4x4 both of which had lodged themselves in the soft sand. The guy behind the wheel of the Toyota had the sunvisor flipped to block his embarrassed look from the side window. I remarked to the driver of the F250 that it was a shame it took a poor quality lowly Ford to extricate the likes of the mighty Japanese and their faithful from the sands of time to which he proudly quipped "This bitch'll pull!"

Indeed it will I said to myself.

I always run a Wrangler 4door...and haven't used a demo in bout 25 years. Up here you can't stop those things on the roads anyway...course we don't get real snow storms much anymore..." as he knocks on a big block of wood."

My current ride is an F250 Lariat 4x4 S/C RED however my usual ride is a Mustang GT 5 speed ragtop but since the winter is upon us firewood doesn't load very easily in the 'stang.

04 ram hemi 1500 quad cab 4x4 with pro-comp 35' tires... Yea, snow what ...
The wifes durango r/t is supercharged... Make it a bit more tricky for the snow, but it's fun as hell...

Hahaha...I lumber along, underpowered and such...but with a grin on my face. I've been in the business all my life, the only job I ever had, and pretty much cars and trucks do surprisingly little to tingle my jingles.
