Question July 4th Get aways?

Its a little early, but are there any exciting plans for July 4th, that involve a "break" from the car biz?

Don't get to take my break until October. Hopefully I can make it that long without going nuts.

Headed off to Playa Mujeres, Mexico.

Traditional family cookout followed by fireworks in the backyard.

I wanted to go to the Grand openning of the new Casino at the Greenbrier but I called to late and the entire resort is booked.

Good for Jim Justice and the Greenbrier !

It's a wonderful place that Jim saved from becoming a Marriott.

My wife and I did one of those in St. Lucia a couple years ago. I never thought she'd go for it, but she had an absolute blast!

I just checked out the video - I bet your kids had a great time on the zip lines.

The only part of Mexico I ever visited was Tijuana - I'd don't think it was a fair assessment of everything Mexico has to offer.

There are some REALLY nice resorts in Mexico that can be had relativley cheaply compared to their other foreign/US counterparts. Most of the food at the nicer ones is excellent as well. Here are some shots of the place we are staying in October: http://www.excellence-resorts.com/al...ort-photos.htm

My wife and I used to travel quite a bit in better times, and Mexico has always been great bang for the buck!

I just had a chance to check out the pictures - that resort looks spectacular.

Concerning the comment about better times, I think that's something most people can relate to.

Smile Happy Fourth of July to Everyone

I hope everyone has a Safe and Enjoyable Fourth of July.

I'll be spending mine in Seattle where the high temperature today is forecast for 67 degrees with a possibility of rain showers in the early evening. (Brrrr.... )
