Thanks for the new bank Granch, but if that bank is going off a NADA value that is wrong we are just masking the real problem of NADA values! Dealers keep adding some more EXAMPLES!
There is No reason for our industry having to deal with a situation that we cannot control or that we find that is not on the up and up!! |

I'm still convinced that it's going to be easier to change the banks' practices than it will be to change the NADA's. I like reading the examples too. |

Looks like NADA is trying to get some real numbers!! Believe me NADA still has issues and we do want to show appreciation of correcting there mistakes but the way they handled it is irresponsible! If you don't know it NADA has cost all dealerships major money for no reason but there lazy system!
Here is a example: 2006 F150 Supercrew PU (Clean Retail) NADA Old Book Sept. 09 New Book Oct. 09 Xlt $17975 $20050 Lariet 19975 22025 King Ranch 20575 22600 Xlt 4wd 20800 22825 FX4 4wd 21700 23750 lariet 4wd 22750 24775 King Ranch 4wd 23325 25375 I know its nice to see values go up $2000 but as we know truck prices have been stupid all year and they will keep climbing! |

One thing you may want to do is call some of your bank reps. Some of my banks are accepting auction receipts in place of NADA values, they are aware of the discrepencies.

That would be a great trend if more banks started making their advance decisions based on auction prices and not the NADA pricing guides. :thumbsup_old: |

NADA adopts weekly updates.....
I read a story in Automotive News reporting that NADA will begin providing weekly auction values to their electronic pricing guides beginning 02/01/10.
Perhaps even more interesting, there wasn't a single comment to the story. Is the NADA pricing guide even relevant any longer? |

While I've ranted in countless threads about the poor support NADA provided for the OLDCO dealers, there's no evidence to suggest they've done any better representing the interests of the NEWCO dealers. In my opinion the NADA has grown increasingly insignificant over the past several years and that trend will continue until they remember who their customer is and why their organization was formed. |

I doubt if they will get the hint if attendance at NADA is down significantly.
