Unhappy Crime doesn't pay - Part two.......

A former bookkeeper for car dealer Cal Worthington has been sentenced to four years in federal prison for embezzling more than $750K.

The thefts took place over a four year period and involved forged checks.

The conviction was partially based on the fact that tax returns filed for the bookkeeper did not report the embezzled funds. (You can't hide from the IRS)

Interestingly, the report indicated that the bookkeeper has had a conviction for a similar crime in the past.

Here's a link to the report: http://www.modbee.com/local/story/149631.html
