Default What's your store doing for Memorial Day?

Any predictions for car sales on Memorial Day?

Are Holidays typically good selling days in your market or not?

I'm taking the day off. Have had some lucrative Memorial Days but most years it's just time wasters with nothing better to do than eat free hot dogs and bust balls.

That's cool - it's nice to have the store closed on occasion and allow the employees to spend a holiday with their friends and family. In a rural market I thing the customers are more understanding/loyal and there wouldn't be any loss of sales.

Default Amazon to offer 20 Free Android Phones on Memorial Day?

I'm not sure I believe the source but there are reports on the Internet that Amazon's going to have a one-day sale on Memorial Day and offer 20 Free Android Phones. Here's the news report - click here

Some of the phones expected to be included in the offer are the HTC Thunderbolt, Droid Charge, Nexus S 4G and the LG Revolution. Those are some pretty decent phones that are currently selling for $130 - $250.

Time will tell if the offer is true, but if you're in the market for a new phone you might want to wait until Monday.

close for first time in 4 years. It's good for morale to give your people the Holidays off.

Open again this year, despite providing numbers from last year's Memorial Day. Again, we're standing around watching the tumbleweeds blow by...

Well, it wasn't true. Just goes to show that you can't always believe what you read on the Internet.

Amazon has discounted some phones but the powerhouse phones like the Thunderbolt and Charge are still pretty close to their original price - no deal here.

Sorry to hear you're at work just watching the tumbleweeds blow by. If you have to be at work on a Holiday it's always a lot easier when you're making some money.

Still dead. We're playing Texas Hold 'Em now. Using washers for money. I could be cutting my grass...

9 to 4 today and now in our final hour... 6 new 3 used. Not a lot of traffic today... but good traffic.

Spent 2/3rds of yesterday on the water... 1/3rd broke down 100 mls from home, 5mls from the lake, at a gas station, boat in tow, taking up 3 gas pumps, in my BROKE DOWN 2011 Ram truck! I wanted to die!!!

(Shacos should have some fun w/this post )

Should have closed, but afraid to with as slow as business has been. (Of course, selling only used these days.)

Sales reported 9 sold on Memorial Day, 6 new 3 used. I'm told a lot of traffic could have sold 9 more but credit and pay off problems. Im sure all of yall have heard that before.
Service was closed.
