Seattle/Portland Sales Results for February
I just had a chance to review a Sales Report for the Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge Dealers for February and I was surprised at the number of Metro Stores in the Seattle/Portland area that had sold fewer than 20 units for the month.
Granted that February's a short month and it's typically slow, but these results were from stores that used to do 40 - 80 units. Is the Seattle/Portland market that soft or is this a reflection of declining market share for Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge dealers? |

Was Lithia CJD of Renton included in that total?

No - it looks like you guys had a strong month. Perhaps at the expense of some of the other CJD Dealers in Seattle.
Truthfully, I always tend to overlook that store when I review reports about the Seattle market. The honest answer is I can never remember the Dealer Code. Most of the reports I see have the Dealer Name Field too narrow to indicate where the store is from. The report indicates "Lithia Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge of " and the rest is cut off. Without knowing the Dealer Code I always assume that's one of your Oregon or California stores. Congratulations on a strong month. |
