Ford loses #2 Sales Ranking - 75 Year Legacy
Although it has been widely reported that Toyota outsold Ford in the U.S. for 2007 I thought it was interesting that Chrysler outsold Ford in Canada.
It seems that Ford lost the #2 spot in both countries at the same time. Ford held the #2 spot in the U.S. for 75 years. Toyota sold 2.62 million units in the U.S. in 2007 - outpacing Ford by 48,226 vehicles. Momentum is clearly on Toyota's side. It will be interesting to see how the sales results stack-up this time next year. |
