Here is what we are doing. The parts department takes the full .3 hrs. to return the recall parts to the WPC as profit for the parts department. We create a parts counter invoice and have it billed against the Work Order that you are sending the parts back on. We set up GM Warranty as the customer, and include the RO #, the VIN #, and the parts request # on the invoice. The warranty admin. adds the cost to the claim and when GM pays us, that amount goes into the parts profit account. It's not a lot but at least it is something!
