Drove 2011 Grand Cherokee today
Drove a 2011 Gr. Cherokee "X" package Laredo today that our service rep. had for a demo. Said he won a parts sales contest and got it for a prize. What a great package inside and out. If this is indicative of what we will have coming in our new vehicles over the next year or two, then I am very hopeful for the future. It was a hemi so I can't comment on the new V6. The interior looks modern and the leather was soft and comfortable and not cheap looking as in the past.

That's awesome, thanks for the update.
As a clarification for those who lurk the forum, the fact the District Manager won the vehicle as a prize just means she gets to use it for her company car - she doesn't get to keep it.  Back to the test drive, it's great to hear something positive from another person who's seen and driven the vehicle. Thanks again for the report.

Good to hear! I am curious how the 2011 GC will stack up with the new Ford Explorer. This will be an interesting comparison.

We also received our DM's 2011 GC limited hemi 4x4 I did not get to drive. My first impressions are WOW. This new Jeep puts us out of reach for domestic brands and in direct competition with the euro Suvs. The fit and finish are off the charts now that I look at a 2010 GC it feel cheap and boring. Off to the raceway tomorrow for the launch.
