It may be worth taking a closer look at missing tool part numbers before ordering. Some of the Commercial tool numbers come up on non-commercial dealer inventory lists.

Great information - thanks for sharing.

I can see how a Dealer would be livid if he/she ended up buying tools for a segment of the franchise that they don't even have access to.

Well, if you get bored over the Christmas holidays maybe you can take a few of the Miller Special Tools part numbers and plug them into Ebay to see if there's much of a market.

When I search Ebay I often use their filter that only provides search results for completed auctions that resulted in a sale. When I'm trying to determine a market price I'm less concerned about the prices of current listing and more concerned about what actually sold.

My bet is given the laws of supply and demand the value of old special tools is probably pennies on the dollar.

I can definitely vouch for Mr. Biegler. I purchased a complete set of Miller Special Tools for the Jeep Liberty CRD from him last year, (Miller 9545 and Miller 9599 in the Spring of 2015). He treated me VERY fairly, and I was happy to do business with him.

In fact, I am on this forum again to purchase another set of Miller Special Tools for the Liberty CRD. I am looking for all 4 grey cases that make up Miller 9599 and the single black case that makes up Miller 9545. I am also looking for the Miller Special Tools for a first generation 5.9 Cummins Turbo-Diesel, and the NV5600 6-speed manual transmission.

Thanks for the update - I'm happy to hear that the forum brought the two of you together for a win-win deal.

Concerning Mr. Biegler, he's been a core member of this forum for a long time and has a great reputation. Thanks for taking the time to convey your positive feedback.
