I filled up for $2.45 this afternoon - the lowest price I've paid in over a year.
CNBC asked their viewers for input - it seems like Texas has the lowest gas prices and California has the highest. |

$2.97 Northern Cal. at selected stations $3.19 at most others history tells us it will rise again! Exxon likes billions in profit (they won't go from steak to beans without a fight)

I share your opinion about fuel prices. While I'm happy that they're falling I don't trust them - I know that they could go up again just as fast. It will be interesting to see how the consumer reacts to lower fuel prices - I don't get the impression that there will be a sharp increase in the sales of Trucks and SUVs. |

I thought of this thread last night when I drove through town and noticed that gas had dropped to $2.29/gallon. That's a price we haven't seen in this area for the past 18 - 24 months.

I have a station right accross from the dealership so it is easy to keep an eye on prices, any way we dropped to $2.25.

It just keeps falling....
The price at my local station is now down to $2.19/gallon.
That's lass than half of what I paid earlier this year. It's been crazy - 2008 will definitely be a year to remember. |
