Default '11 jeeps with miles

New Wranglers and Grand Cherokees rolling off tha car carriers with 30 to 60 miles on them. Anyone else seeing this or know why? Usually they're less than 10.

Wow, that's strange.

Do the vehicles have the label applied to the driver's window indicating they were tested by Chrysler for quality assurance purposes?

They actually look nice in my opinion. Nothing earth shattering mind you, but several subtle improvements.

I like the subtle windshield graphics; they have the old logo Jeep grill above the rearview mirror & a small wrangler climbing the curve in the lower right corner.

And Don't forget about the Since 1949 on the O$h*+ bar as well. Very classy for a Jeep...

And as it turns out, the ones with miles were delayed in being delivered. 2 were sold orders that became 3 weeks late for no apparent reason. The good news is, they did a great job with the car and everyone loves it. They also came with price increase.

I'm guessing you meant to type "since 1941." (It was always easy for me to remember that date when I was a kid because I used to think Jeep's origination had something to do with America's response to Pearl Harbor.)

Do you guys see customer's balking at extra mileage on a new vehicle? I remember we had 4,000 miles on a Chrysler Crossfire that was used as a GM demo that we couldn't get rid of no matter how many $10K's we took off the window sticker.

miles on new vehicles do no good. New car demos are too hard to sell, and if there's something on the lot with even 500 miles it's not very good dealer trade bait.

And don't forget when Old Chryco closed only vehicles with less 200 miles regardless of reason were considered new for disposal reasons. Don't ever forget!

Maybe the fact it was a Crossfire was part of the problem....

For the record, I always liked the Crossfire and thought it was a great car but it sure was a dud for a lot of Chrysler dealers.

The vehicles with miles have a sticker on the driver's window stating the miles are from a quality screening test drive.

SDA - First post - Welcome to the forum.

I wonder if Chrysler's been testing a higher percentage of vehicles or if it's just fluke that some of our members have been noticing a change?
