Welcome to the forum.

I owe you a huge apology for the length of time it took for me to activate your account. You signed up for the forum during a time when it was getting spammed with fake accounts and I took a few months off.

The forum's been quiet lately but there are some really great people here who have been really helpful in the past.

our powersports business has been bad since 2010. side by sides ok, 4x4s slow, jet skis recovering, but motorcycles just dead. literally every week someone drops in wanting us to buy, consign, or trade in their Harley. we would be ok with that but true values are normally 1/2 what the owners want.
looking for a better 2017.

I've had the same experience with people who have grown tired with their RVs and figure they'll use them as a trade for a new vehicle. In almost every instance the RV is worth far less than the customers think it is and the end result is wasted time and angry customers.

They never will be customers of yours because you were the first to tell them how much their ATV or RV was worth. When they reach the 3rd or 4th stop and get the same number they tend to mellow out

I agree on both counts - the first dealer that gets to deliver the bad news is the least likely to ever get a sale as a result of their efforts.

Default Powersports

We are a single line Yamaha dealer here in Southern Ontario Canada.
In response to your earlier note...for us big cruisers are stone cold no activity.
ATV are very slow...but we only have 2 models to really sell both 700,s
Side by side are stone cold
Snowmobile is quiet
Bright spot would be Sport motorcycles and Touring motorcycles are still getting good traffic and we sell parts and accessories online and that is very strong for us....as our door traffic has slowed our online traffic has increased.
