other than printing RBB for each bin I don't know of anything.
Here is something that might get you close if you don't have a lot of 0's or multiple qtys on hand. Its seems like a lot to do but it really only takes about 1 minute to do. Hope this helps some. You also may be able to export this to an excel sheet. Go to function IBL this will give you a list of your bins, with the qty. of part #'s assigned to each bin. Then click on the blue highlighted # of parts in the bin, which will then open a list of part numbers in than bin. then go to the top center of the page and select smart grid, and from there select grid tools. Once you have done this you can put your mouse over and click on "sum" symbol back words "E" in the cost column, then select sum in each column this will give you a total value of the bin. The only thing is that part numbers with multiple qty's. only count as 1 in the cost, and it also will count in the cost of any part numbers that have 0 qty also. |

You could also contact CDK to see if they can build you a report in RPG. Sometimes they will charge you for doing this, but if it is something simple they will do it for no charge.

on RBB is there anyway to print the entire page of part numbers...when I did it it only showed about half and very small...I could not find a way to expand it...the dollar amount was right but it like cut off half the numbers it looked like?

I guess I have never had that issue when I run RBB. you might have to contact CDK...good luck with that.

Here is a simple RPG report that I have that lists each bin in order. The only bad thing (at least on my system) is that it only show 8 digits for the $ amount so if you have $1 millon or more in that bin it will mis-lead you. We are on Drive and if you run it in ERPG it gives each part number and the dollar value but does not total the bin. I guess you could export it to Excel and work with it that way but I think it would take a lot of work.
LIST PART-NO. BY BIN BREAK-ON BIN TOTAL CUR.VAL DET-SUPP ID-SUPP add LPTR to the end if you want it sent to a lineprinter Last edited by rickyict; 08-11-2015 at 02:39 PM. Reason: clarify ERPG |
