I agree, great post.
The double-standard the auto companies have been subjected to is frustrating. The article makes an excellent point that it's easy for the politicians and press to beat-up the auto companies because it's a business the American public understands. By contrast, most Americans don't understand the root cause of the financial melt-down so you get more votes and sell more newspapers by beating on the auto companies. I don't hold much hope that the slant is going to change anytime soon. |

That article is so on the money..
My thoughts exactly as everything went down.. Wall street gets zero oversight, while Detroit gets micromanaged.. for a fraction of the bailout!! |
