Default Volvo Executive expects 10 - 15% drop in 2008

It appears that the decline in the U.S. Dollar is going to have an impact on Volvo's sales next year. Unlike BMW or Mercedes, Volvo doesn't have any U.S. Assembly Plants to ease the pain associated with a declining Dollar.

Like most of the Domestics, Volvo is planning to cut its Dealer count.

Based on the 2008 forecast, the average Volvo store would sell 20 - 22 new cars per month.

I wonder if Volvo has any "packages" available for Dealers that are looking to terminate their franchise?
