Thanks for starting the thread. I read the article and I'm still curious about the concept - I'll have to look into it a little deeper once I get caught up after my recent road trip.
On face value I'd be inclined to agree with you that just because something worked in Europe doesn't mean it's going to work in the U.S. That said, in the time I've spent studying Copart's operations and determining which agencies do the highest volumes it's become very clear there's a market for dealers/wholesalers who buy cars from the public and then sell them for a profit at the auction. |
