I'm certain it would have its place in the right environment. If I think to what Carmax does to cement its "customer friendly" status, I know that they provide a guaranteed appraisal certificate that is good for 7 days or 300 additional miles from the time of appraisal. They actually have a most professional form that they use for this purpose.
While we're on the topic, both vAuto and eCarList offer the functionality to print an appraisal certificate when you have complete appraising a car using the tool. Other than messing around with it when, for example, we are just buying a car from a walk in customer, I haven't played around with it too much, though. |
