I agree, the new Durango looks awesome. I really like the back end and the way the exhaust exits through the rear fascia like the BMW X5s.

It's interesting that Chrysler's showing the Durango so far in advance of its showroom ETA. I wonder if Auburn Hills is changing their strategy based on the launch results of the Grand Cherokee?

It was the official pace vehicle of the DODGE Rock 'n' Roll Half Marathon Virginia Beach which had the Dodge Running Team of CEO Ralph Giilles and 30 employees.

All I've heard is great things from the peanut galleries around me. People love the look!!! I have to agree, it looks great. Should be a winner if it's priced properly and they don't goof up distribution out of the box.

Allpar's write-up also includes a picture of the new Dodge logo that will be used to replace the Ram logo used in the past.

I don't like the logo, looks like a tramp stamp. I like the Ram's head better.

I'm mixed on the new logo - I don't love it and I don't hate it.

I get the impression it might be a transitionary logo to move away from the Ram Head logo. I think the designers were stuck with the basic shape of the Ram logo because it had to be used on products that were shared with Ram - air bag covers as an example.

On a different note, I thought the Durango interior looked great. I agree with another member who posted Chrysler should be releasing pictures of the Durango's interior to the media or on sites like Facebook.

I think it looks great! Still confused on why a customer would by a Dodge or Jeep product that are essentially the same, however.

Am I missing the logo? I don't see it!

The Durango is actually several inches longer than the Grand Cherokee and the Durango will feature three-row seating where the GC only offers two-row seating.

Concerning the logo, it's on the Allpar page linked in post #6.

Yeah, I saw that and thought it was cool of Allpar to mention the forum.

Allpar linked to the the post we had where the Durango name first appeared on VOIM. Allpar gets a lot of traffic from all over the globe so it was interesting to watch the web-traffic that found DealershipForum based on the Allpar link.

The only downside is I'm pretty sure that's how one of the Chrysler trolls found the forum.
