Ford Brand Sales Top 2 Million Units in 2011
Well, Ford just continues to build its momentum as America's top selling brand. According to the linked Detroit News article, the Ford brand exceeded 2 million units this year with the help of its new and improved product line (Fiesta, Fusion, Explorer, etc...). It has not reached this sales level since 2007.

Thanks for the post - I'm still in the process of getting caught up and just read the article.
It's great to see that Ford's reached a sales level they haven't seen in 14 years - that's truly impressive. I'm also impressed with their established products and their recent product launches. That said, I'd really like to find more Ford dealers to join DealershipForum and get a sense of what Ford's Factory/Dealer relations are like. To the extent the dealers are selling a lot of cars I'd assume they're happy but I also get the impression that Dearborn has been playing hardball with their Lincoln stores and forcing them to invest in their facilities or terminate their franchise. I wonder, how well does Ford treat their dealers? |
